Our design and garden room construction process
We make our bespoke garden buildings using structurally insulated panels (SIPS). Generally, we build these on-site at your Kent based home. SIPs offer excellent thermal efficiency and strength. They also allow us to
The building process begins with a robust subframe, typically using galvanised ground screws for minimal disruption and maximum stability. We construct the substructure on top of these using treated floor joists and rigid thermal insulation.
Wall and roof construction involves high-quality C24 timbers, insulated to meet Building Regulations for year-round comfort. When possible, we will build a warm room roof with a single-piece EPDM Rubber roof for the best weather and thermal protection.

Generally, we'll plaster internal walls and coat with with a fully durable Johnston’s wipeable paint. When it comes to the interior woodwork we'll prepare and coat in a fully durable Johnstons satinwood. All paint colours can be matched to a RAL colour of your choosing.
